For four generations we take care of our vineyards and olive groves; we produce excellent autochthonous wines and also Extra-Virgin Olive Oil.
Inside our cellar, in the Slavonian oak barrels, where the authentic Marsala wine, the first Italian DOC wine, is refined and aged, wine tourists can discover the world of Marsala more closely with the story of a fascinating history that through the centuries continues to live in every cup. Next to the "barriccaia" you can admire the old concrete tanks, an example of oenological industrial archeology.
Inside the winery you can visit the enomuseum where are kept the equipment related to the ancient rural culture and that the Montalto family, founder of the company, has used for decades to cultivate the vineyards and olive groves, including presses for pressing of grapes and presses for olives.
Given the particularly important historical and ethno-anthropological interest of such equipment, the superintendency for cultural and environmental heritage with a council decree placed them under constraint.
Wine lovers, in addition to visiting the winery, can entertain themselves and be guided in a tasting of our wines with the possibility to taste the dishes of the rich Sicilian cuisine in a pleasant meeting with its folklore.
The commitment of Dora is to find at table the flavors and aromas of a territory with the possibility of organizing a cooking show on request.
The visit of our winery will thus allow, both the connoisseur and the less experienced visitor, to enjoy a unique experience as hospitality for us is as sacred as our land.
Our guests are our friends!
