The winery produces organic wine and oil since 1994. It was one of the first companies to produce Organic in all of Tuscany.
His production aims to make people drink something different.
For this reason they have concentrated on indigenous grapes: Sangiovese and Gratena Nero, the vine of which they are the only producers in all of Italy.
The Gratena Nero was born from a three-year study done by the University of Milan with Prof. Attilio Scienza. 700 plants in a small plot in front of the house, planted by the old owner with the intention of giving more color to the Sangiovese and, therefore, to Chianti. The old factor said that it was "coloring Cabernet", a grape that stained by how dark it was.
From September 2017, the Gratena Nero is officially a Tuscan vine.
