Villa Corniole was born in Valle di Cembra, a land of "heroic viticulture" of Trentino-Alto Adige.
The history of the "Villa Corniole" wine and sparkling wine cellar starts from afar, from generations of winemakers who, with commitment and gratification, have built and modelled one of the most evocative views of Trentino: the Valle di Cembra, where viticulture, defined "heroic"also represents the form of protection of the landscape, invaluable value for the territory.
In this alpine valley of unparalleled beauty, in a unique Terroir of great and particular wine vocation, Villa Corniole produces its extreme white wines, which identify the mountain rurality: the Müller Thurgau in primis, mountain wine and symbol of the Valle di Cembra, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and Spumante Trento DOC.
And still ice and water to shape the Valle dell'Adige, and at the foot of the sunny cliffs of Paganella and Monte di Mezzocorona, is the Piana Rotaliana, alluvial land rich in minerality thanks to the river Noce, which originates in the Brenta Dolomites and carries its essential elements.
In this favorite land, we grow Teroldego grapes, native vine, first DOC of Trentino and prince of Trentino wines, Lagrein and Pinot Grigio, three varieties that in the Piana Rotaliana best express their sensory characteristics.
What drives us is the constant desire to innovate, the passion for viticulture, the determination and care and pride for our territory which, with its terraced vineyards in Valle di Cembra and the regular fields of the Piana Rotaliana, returns harmonious visual traces. Dry-stone walls, paths of connection to the various vineyards, form and model an alpine landscape of rare beauty.
Pellegrini Family is ambassador of such beauty and majesty and Villa Corniole is the shared family project, which is born in the vineyard and continues in the mountain cellar, where all the hand-picked grapes are vinified in the vineyards of Val di Cembra and Piana Rotaliana, to obtain unique and elegant wines with a strong link with the territory.
